Wednesday WOW Challenge

This is my card for the Wednesday WOW Challenge.

I used the flower from Bloomin Beautiful. I stamped the image two times in each of the three colors. Once on the the layer with all three together and once as a single flower. I cut each flower head out sponged the edges and placed them on top of the same colored flower with dimensionals. I added some dazzling diamonds glitter in what would be the groves of the flower to give them a hint of mist on them. I layered that piece onto chocolate chip and layer onto the kiwi kiss.

I stamped and colored the bee from the set, cut it out and placed it on the card with a dimensional. Stamped the sentiment and placed it in the corner and I was done.

Unlike my packing that I should be doing. One more sleep Kirsten and Ryan. They are my grandchildren and I get to see them tomorrow.

Thanks for looking please leave a comment if you feel like it.

Hi Stampers, this is my latest card. There will be a new bundle coming out in January called the Love You Much Bundle.

I layered the bottom half of my card front with a piece from the Candy Lane DSP that will be coming out at the same time. I used the heart embossing folder on the Riding Hood Red that is the top layer. Place a scrap piece of Chocolate Chip over the two piece were they meet. I always save my scraps just for that kind of thing.

I layer the stamped Love image on white and layered it on Riding Hood Red and Chocolate Chip and placed it in the middle of the Chocolate Chip strip. I stamped the sentiment twice and punch out with the 1 1/4 punch the words "hugs and kisses" and layered it on a 1 3/8 circle of Riding Hood Red and layered these two on the original stamped image that was punched out with the Scallop Circle Punch.

I stamped the stamp that has the three hearts which lines up perfectly with the new punch for this bundle trimmed them so that they would sit on top of the same hearts punched in Riding Hood Red.

Thanks for Looking. Please leave a comment if you like my cards or have any suggestions.

Eastern Blooms

Hi Stampers, I made this card twice today. Once to give to my neighbour who brought me a lovely Christmas present. So I sent her this same card but with Thank You for the sentiment.

The stamp set is Eastern Blooms. The card base is Red Riding Hood Red. The next layer is Kraft card stock that I embossed with the Cuttlebug embossing folder.

The next layer is Chocolate Chip with Red Riding Hood which I stamped with Versamark and sponged the edges.

The next layer is Chocolate Chip, Red Riding Hood and then White Card stock stamp with the branch stamp from the set and the flowers were cut out and layered onto the branch. I put a half pearl in each of the flowers Non SU (sorry).

The sentiment is from Upsy Daisy, I stamped it in Chocolate Chip and punch it out with the large oval punch (new this last catalogue). Sponged the edges and put dots around the edge as well. Thanks for looking.

I am getting excited about going to my daughters for Christmas. My children live in a different province and I don't get to see them as often as I would like. Three more sleeps Kirsten and Ryan can't wait to see you.

Taylored Expressions Challenge TECC46

I thought I would kill two birds with one stone sort of to speak. The Stampin Design School was using the same sketch as Taylored Expression so I thought I would use the same card for both challenges.

I used the So Swirly Wheel & Fresh Cuts Stamp Set.
The cardstock was Whisper White, Bashful Blue and Chocolate Chip
The ink was Bashful Blue, Chocolate Chip and Versa Mark
Accessories were a Bashful Blue Brad and Crystal Effects made the "Robin Eggs or some called them Dew Drops" 3 Flower Punch and Corner Punch

I used a card base of Bashful Blue layered a another piece of Bashful Blue that had been wheeled with Versa Mark to give the tone on tone effect. The bottom piece was from the Bella DSP. Because I felt I cut my pieces a little short I added a thin strip of Chocolate Chip between them. Then I added the following layers.

I stamped the images with Chocolate Chip and Bashful Blue and sponged edges with same.
I cut the image in three and layered it on Chocolate Chip CS which was then layered on Bashful Blue and Chocolate Chip card stock that had being punched with the new scallop border punch.

I stamped the small flower from the Fresh Cut Stamp Set and cut it out. Punch a Chocolate Chip flower from the 3 flowers punch put them together with the Blue Brad. I punch the corners with the corner punch and layered them together and put three drops of Crystal Effects to look like Dew Drops.

Spending some time in my stamp room.

I felt like creating something different. I have been collecting a few background type stamps because I love when I see a card that has a picture on it. I think the lady I am thinking of is Zindorf she creates beautiful images. While I am still learning how to do the beautiful creations she makes I think I may be on the right track. I would not want to multi produce a card like this it still feels like an accomplishment by only doing one of a kind. I have decided to give this card to my Purolator delivery guy, Ethan. He is a older gentleman, always so polite and accomodating. Here is Canada we do not get UPS guys. I hope he will like it. I am putting a Tim Horton's gift card inside for him as well, hope he likes Tim's.
