Halloween Punch Art Card

I had posted this card/decor item on some of the Yahoo groups I belong to and was asked for directions to make it.

I was inspired to make this card from a card I saw in my travels. I do not remember if the card I saw was a side step card but this one is. To make my side step card you will need a piece of card stock cut 5 1/2 x 8 1/2. Put the card stock in your paper cutter and cut it down the centre ( at 2 3/4) from 1" to 5 1/4 " Score from one edge at 1", 2" 4 1/4" and 5 1/4.

To make the pumpkins I used the large oval and the extra large oval punches. I sponged all the edges with Cajun Craze and layer them together one on top and the other two behind the first oval. Punch the leaves from the two step bird punch I used six of them. I sponged them with Always Artichoke and curled the branch part with the end of a small paint brush.

The ghosts are from the Owl punch, I punched three of them cut the feet off and turned them upside down. I then added some google eyes.

On the left side of the side step card I added a black layer to make the pumpkins stand out more. The sentiment was colored with markers punched out with the 1 3/8 circle punch added to a 1 3/4 circle punch piece of orange and then these two were layered on a 2 " scallop circle. I added dots around the second layer with my stamp and write marker. All the edges were sponged with Cajun Craze.

On the back part of the side step I punched a 1 1/4 circle and then used a cut out of a one inch circle to cover with glue and added the dazzling diamonds. I punched three bats from the new Stampin Up bat punch. I used the white gel pen to make the eyes and add some dimension to the wings. Then I placed them randomly on the card.
