Blooming With Love

I had been surfing SCS awhile ago and saw that a lady had made beautiful note cards with this set. However, I do not own this set and thought could I maybe use something else. Then I remembered that a customer and good friend of mine had this set a asked if I could borrow it to try and make some note cards. Thank you Karen. Upon first looking at this set there was not much I liked except for the stamps with the three items on it, the vase and the two flower pots. But, after working with it I love it. Karen stopped by yesterday to pick up her order and I showed her what I had made so far with it. She was very pleased with the results, especially since I promised her a set for letting me borrow the stamp set.

I used water color paper and markers to color the images which I stamped with Black Stazon. I used the retired DSP paper from Porcelain Prints and River Rock and Blue Bayou card stock which are also retired. Got to stop hording these beautiful papers.

On the card with the long row of different pots I just added the watering can and the flower pot on the ends to make it longer. I cut this piece out with one of my nestabilities die. Sponged the edges with Blue Bayou to give it a layered look.

Thanks for looking and commenting.
