Delightful Decorations

Hello Stamping Friends:

Well today was weigh in day, sigh, I did not loose this week. This trying to loose weight is such a chore. It is not that I eat too much but that I don't eat enough and I am not hungry most of the time.

This should not be such a hard thing to do. But for me it is terribly hard. I am usually by myself for most meals so I don't make many "meals" except for supper since I join WW. I can handle that one meal but as for the rest of the day, I have to make myself eat and I am running out of ideas. Enough of the complaining, tomorrow is another day.

My card today is using a size that I don't use often but I think I may start as it lends itself to some unique layering. My card base is Kraft card stock and the finished size is 6 1/4 x 3 1/2 approximately (the card stock is cut 6 1/4 x 7 1/8).

I stamped the decorations from Delightful Decorations in several different colors and punch them out with the ornament punch. I first layered four of them side by side, then layered two more over the first row and then one more over the second row, like building a pyramid sort to speak. I also put sponged on some shimmery paint, just can't get enough of that stuff on all the edges. Then I tied three bows with SU gold cord and applied them to the top three ornaments.

The sentiment is from the last page of the catalogue called Merry and Bright it was stamped in Soft Suede.

Thanks for coming to my blog and also thank you for your very kind comments.
