Signs of Summer

Hello Friends:

Ever had one of those days were you wondered where the time went. It seems like I just got up and it is time to go to bed. LOL

It is finally summer here and I just had to share a picture of my cat Belle sunbathing in the sun. She loves to lay where ever there is heat or sunshine.

I felt like making something different tonight and remembered the cute card holder and cards that was on SCS this week. So I decided to try it. This little box holds 3 x 3 cards and envelopes.

I have not made to many of these type of projects but this one was really fun and did not take to long. Especially if you don't count the coffee breaks and scoring mistakes( helps if you read the instructions properly).

Recipe:

Stamp Set: Pocket Silhouettes

Ink: Night of Navy

Paper: Brocade Blue, Night of Navy, White

Accessories: Sticky Tape, Lacy Border Punch, Wide Oval, Large Oval and Scalloped Oval punches, silver brads

Hey Peggy! These are beautiful cards! We go to school from mid-August to Friday before Memorial day. And there are snowdays built in the schedule through out the year, but this year we went over since there weren't as many days built in due to the fact that Memorial was SO early this time! Since we went used up all of our built in snow days and still had two to make up the kids had to go to school till Wednesday after Memorial this year.

Have a great day!

Gosh, that turned out so pretty! I'm trying to make something for my Mom right now and she would think those were great. Maybe I'll borrow your idea and enlarge to regular card size! And by the way Belle or Bella, I can't remember which I read, I'll have to look back is a real beauty, boy we would really be lost without our sweet babies!
