Refuge and Strength

I made this card using the Big Shot for the Buttons and the Swirls. the Swirls are two of them linked together in the centre to give the appearance of one large swirl.

The DSP is from Bella Blue and new paper this catalogue. I cut two equal pieces and paper pierced around the edge, layered it on my Almost Navy card base. The next layer is sponged Chocolate Chip card stock layered on Almost Navy. Then I took a 3/4" strip from To the Nines DSP and layered it on Almost Navy added my Big Shot buttons on the end. I tied some string in the paper buttons to make them look more like real buttons.

I stamped the cross with Close to Cocoa and stamped the sentiment with Chocolate Chip. The little branches were stamped in Bordering Blue. This layer was layered onto Almost Navy and then placed on top of all the other layers.

The two swirls were joined in the centre and glued onto the side of the card front layers.

Thanks for looking and Commenting. This is a great way to make stamp set samplers but doing a card a day from a stamp set. I think I will try this next week too. Bye for now.
