Hello again, I have not been as faithful as I had hoped at keeping my blog up to date, I promise I will try harded. Today is the first day of Spring Yea. I can not wait for it to warm up.
They are predicting major flooding in southern Manitoba, I feel so sorry for the folks down that way.
Here in Gimli, we should be ok. We are usually a little bit cooler but we are usually not subject to floods.
I am looking forward to Easter this year as my son and his fiance informed me that they are going to try to come for Easter. I haven't seen them for some time.
Well on to my card. I have been hording DSP paper and I wanted to start using it. After all there will be new DSP coming out in a few months from now.
I used a base of Chocolate Chip, layered a piece of DSP from the Chocolate Chip series, I then added a strip of Close to Coaco DSP horizontally which has a piece of border punched chocolate chip card stock underneath.
Then I layered another strip of Close to Coaco DSP vertically on top Chocolate Chip card stock. I cut the Chocolate Chip ;Nestabilities design and then stamp the image from Pocket Shilouettes on a white circle and layered this on the Nestabilitie design.

Your card is beautiful. I am finding that I really like cards that have brown in them. I'm so happy for you to have news that one of your kids will be home for Easter. I give you permission to hug them extra whether they like hugs or not, tell them It's a mom right that was evoked at birth.
