Echoes of Kindness

Hello, sorry for the late post. I have had a busy day. Got the great news that one of my children ( well adult children) and her family are moving back to Manitoba. Yea!!!

I have really missed my kids living so far away. I am so glad they are coming home.

Anyway, this card was designed for the Late Night Stampers Challenge to make a distressed card.

I stamped the Always Artichoke card stock with the Tres Chic background stamp and then I used the swirly texture plate. I sanded the embossing and although I was hoping for a different color I got a velvet feel instead.

I stamp one of the images from Echoes of Kindness and watercolored it. I layered it on pieces of Elegant Eggplant and Always Artichoke.

I used the new lacy border punch on pieces of Elegant Eggplant and Always Artichoke and layered them together. I tied a piece of Kraft Taffeta ribbon around this layer and place it on the large piece of Always Artichoke and then placed the image layer on top of it.

I made my dew drops by punched 1/4" circles layering three together and applying Crystal Effects to the top layer.

Thanks for looking.
