Clean and Simple

Hi fellow stampers, I missed a couple of days sorry about that. I have been busy with that thing called LIFE. It seems to always get in the way of what I really want to do. But we just have to carry on right. On the bright side of life I got to hold my new granddaughter in church today because Mom was busy playing the piano for communion, hope that is spelled right. I was quite the joke on some of the forums I belong too for my spelling of refuse vs refuge. They still remind me every so often. Hey I am self taught at most things I do. I did not have anyone to teach me how to drive. Yes, that is right I bought a car and drove it home. If you think that is bad when I went to get my licence, the fellow asked me who I came with. I said that he was busy and would be back for me. Well isn’t God always busy, he did come back for me and I did get my licence. Just don’t ask me to back up to far. LOL

Well onto my card, I wanted to use up some extra previous cut cards, and I wanted to make a clean and simple card (CAS). I inked up the Essence of Love stamp, wiped off the flowers and then applied color with a sponge dauber. I stamped it twice to cover the whole card piece. I sponged the bottom edge with Always Artichoke and the top with Bashful Blue and added the ribbon that had also been previously cut. Then I paper pierced around the card.

This card would be a great card to have on hand for almost any occasion; you could simply write your note inside and sent it off.

Thanks for looking and I really enjoy reading your comments.
