With the arrival of two new granddaughters I thought it would be quite fitting to make some pages up for those most anticipated pictures. Are you reading this Bryanne?
My DSP that I used is from the Raspberry Tart series. I love the pinks, the Regal Rose, Red Rose and of course the Kiwi Kiss that are in theses papers. That is one of the things you have to love about Stampin Up all their papers and accessories co-ordinate so nicely and it really takes the guess work out of the equation.
On my first layout I made room for a 5 x 7 picture. But you could easily put a 4 x 6 and it would still look lovely. The other thing I wanted to do was to start incorporating stamp images on my layouts. I chose Petal Pizzazz for this. I cut the flowers and stems and sponged the edges. I used dimensionals under all of them to give them so depth. I left room on the left side for future journaling.
On the second layout I made is for two 4 x 6 pictures, one in landscape and one in portrait. Please remember when taking pictures to use both of these poses, it will make your scrapbooking so much easier.
I used the die cut from page 198 in the catalogue called Swirly. I punch out from my scraps some flower shapes with the Three Flower punch and the Boho Blossoms punches and added them to the Swirly die cut.

Those are so cute! I was unsure about Raspberry Tart, thinking it was way too bright but I love it!
