Sympathy Card - Upsy Daisy

I am going to challenge myself to putting a new card on my blog everyday.

I wanted to do a clean and simply card and I wanted to use a stamp that would only require one color of ink, use a minimal of layers and accessories and one color of ink.

I used the Upsy Daisy stamp set, the sentiment from Close As A Memory for the inside of the card. My ink was Black Stazon, the ribbon is Basic Grey Taffeta. I used one of the border embossing folders for the border on the edge of the card and lightly sponged grey to give it a different look than just embossed. The sentiment of the front of the card is from the same set, I used a marker and made dots around the edge and lightly sponged it with black ink.

I also stamped the inside of the card with the Upsy Daisy that had been stamped off first then onto the inside of the card twice. I used the sentiment from Close as a Memory for the inside verse. I apologize for the poor image of the inside just could not seem to get it as clear as I would have liked it.

Very nice card Peg. It could be for male/female and sympathy cards I think are kind of hard.
I like all the cards I saw. My dad used to like in Manitoba can't remember the town.Have a great evening.
