Beates Weekend Sketch

Hello Stamping Friends:

I decided to participate in Beate's weekend sketch. Each weekend she has a sketch on her blog and you can participate by entering your card. I had some left overs from some previous cards and decided to make it a two part challenge by using what was in my table scraps. The only thing that I had to make was the card base and the first chocolate chip layer.
Here is the sketch.
and here is my card, hope you like it.

Here is my recipe:

Stamps: 24-7

Ink: Bordering Blue, Chocolate Chip, Versa Mark

Paper: Bella Blue DSP, Chocolate Chip, Bashful Blue

Accessories: Ribbon, Corner Punch, Circle punches, Nestability Circles, Blue Rhinestones, Cuttlebug embossing folder.

Thanks for stopping by.

Sympathy Card

Hello Stamping Friends:

Are you all having a great day. I seem to be using a lot of Real Red Card stock these days, gee let me see, oh I know, I ordered in three times in a row when I did not require it can we say overstocked. I cased this card from Silke Ledlow.

I used the newest texture plate from Stampin Up to create the criss cross embossing on this card. And yes Real Red card stock was my card base which is 5 1/4 x 4 1/4. I used the flocked DSP paper from the Christmas Cocoa Collection. I added a piece of 5/8" Real Red ribbon. The stamped image is from Friends 24-7 and it was stamped in Real Red ink. I matted it on Real Red that I cut out with the Nestabilities.

This is what I did on the inside of the card.

Thanks for looking.
