Flower for All Seasons

Hello again:

I don't know if anyone besides Manitoba has had rain all weekend but we sure have. I think we are going to float away.

All this rain made me think of my daughters home because the rain seems to have brought out all the frogs.

I pulled out one of my saved sketches and came up with this card thinking about the frogs.

I am starting to use a lot of Kraft card stock these days. I had not jet tried coloring on it but it works pretty good. I used my white gel pen from Stampin Up to color the daisies and my ink pads to color the can and the frog.

Something else I have been doing lately is paper piercing. I never used to like to pierce right through my card but I have come to terms with it and do it on almost every card these days.

Like everyone else I am waiting patiently for the new catalogue (NOT) I am hoping that it will be filled with all kinds of new things. Well I must be off to bed. I wonder if anyone actually reads what we print? I know I do when I visit other blogs do you?

Recipe:

Stamps: A Flower for all Seasons, Short and Sweet

Ink: Black, Basic Grey, Old Olive

Paper: Whisper White, Kraft, Pumpkin Pie DSP

Accessories: Ribbon, Non SU Rhinestones, Mat Pack.

PS. We've been a bit "wet", too--but not like you guys! Hang in there (i.e. do not float away!)!
