This page was created for the Late Night Stampers Challenge. We were to created a card, 3D item or scrapbook page but it had to have a bird on it.

I knew I had a bird die so I decided that since I wanted to do some scrapbook layouts for future classes I would do that for the challenge.

I know that it is spring but I just love these colors. When I was much younger, I made granny square Afghans. That tells you how old I am. Any way my favourite color combo was green, orange, gold and brown. I still use that allot today.

On to the details. I used a piece of pumpkin pie designer series paper and sponged it with really rust to make it look distress. Add some scrap of brown and green and then made X's along the edge. I made the pumpkins used the large oval punch and just layered them to look like a pumpkin. I cut a Swirly strip with my big shot and then cut it apart to make the vines on the pumpkins. The bird is also a die cut as well as the branch she is sitting on.

The sunflower at the top is made from our scallop circle punch and again the branches are from the little stems die. Thanks for looking.

Very nice Peggy. My favorite fall colors. Think I'll have to use this layout too!
