Well I gave everyone a good laugh on some of the yahoo groups I belong to. I called this card Refuse and Strength it should have been Refuge and Strength. One lady was kind enough to comment that my card certainly was not refuse (garbage). I never will be known for my grammar or spelling skills. I do use spell check but if the word is spelt correctly it will not necessarily pick up the wrong meaning. Anyway on to the details of the card.I just received this stamp set. I had been wanting to make some inspirational cards and felt that this set was probably one of the more appropriate ones for what I was wanting to do.
So as you all know by now the stamp set is Refuge and Strength it is on page 59 of the Stampin Up catalogue. I decided to use my new designer paper called To The Nines, this paper is almost if not a card stock weight and it is beautiful. I first cut the Top Note piece and then use the reverse side for the first layer.
I stamped the cross after I had already stamped off once in Close to Cocoa. I stamped the verse and the flower in Basic Brown. I sponged the oval with Creamy Caramel. Every time I see Caramel I think of my granddaughter who insists that I pronounce it incorrectly. Kinda like tomato and tamato.
The scalloped oval was cut from Always Artichoke card stock. I used the new ribbon from the Sellabration catalogue. The corner embellishments are in Always Artichoke and is a Cuttlebug die.
Thanks for looking and commenting.

This is just beautiful...
Peggy, your card is very beautiful! And definately not refuse! Thanks for the great laugh and for being such a great sport about it!!! I can't tell you how many times I've made similar mistakes! Thank you for sharing!!!
Peg,
LOL! I have the exact same issue with my spelling. I have learned humility through my misspellings. I am glad I am not the only one. Your card is beautiful - in fact all of the Refuge & Strength cards are beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
