Make a Card Monday at Matlock
Hi Stampers, hope you all had a great weekend. Mine was very busy. There has been some family issues this last week and a lot of things were topsy tervy. Most things seem to be under control now.

We are stamping two cards today. One of the cards can also be made into a 6 x 6 scrapbook page for those who would like to some scrapbooking.
The first card is a Birthday Card using the one of the Sellabration Sets from last year.
This card is fairly basic. I used Always Artichoke for the green 4 1/4" x 2" piece and tied a piece of brown ribbon onto it. The "present" layer was stamped and then the "presents" were stamped on a separate piece of card stock and using dimensionals placed back on top of the previously stamped presents. This piece was layered onto chocolate chip. The happy birthday was stamped on pumpkin pie and layered on chocolate chip. The "presents" were stamped in Pumpkin Pie, Always Artichoke and Regal Rose. I saw this card or one similiar so I CASED it because it was so very elelgant.
The second card was using the stamp set Wishing you Cheer. With this card you could also make it into a 6 x 6 scrapbook page.

The background was stamped with the snow stamp from the set in Bordering Blue. A piece of Bordering Blue was layered with white card stock and "Very Merry" was stamped on it. The snowman was stamped on white card stock and layered with Bordering Blue. Glitter snow paint was added to the bottom of the snowman.
To make this a scrapbook page you would stamp the whole card with the background stamp, and add the same layers to the bottom. You would add your picture to the top part, add any embellisments and add your journaling.
Thanks for looking.
